The Tenth Division, directed by Tōshirō Hitsugaya along with Rangiku Matsumoto is dispatched to take a well known artifact "King's Seal", that is thieved while in carry from the Soul Society by an mysterious and disguised Soul Reaper and a pair of unexplainable Arrancar similar like ladies who manage flames and lightning. During the strike, Hitsugaya edges and appears to identify the Soul Reaper, who injures him and leaves. Amidst of the battle, Hitsugaya leaves his station to go after him and leaves his team at the back to fend for themselves. After the fight, Soul Society thinks Hitsugaya of treason and requests his instant seizure. The entire Tenth Squad is next set under house charge from which time they can surmise whether or not the squad must be removed.
